Be the parent you want to be.

We keep track of the schedule, the pickups and all the little details across both homes, so you can put your energy into the kids instead of the logistics.

It works from day one with just you, even if the other parent never joins.

A sample year · November to October

This is a year of every other weekend. Every lime square is a night they sleep at your house.

Why we built it

For years I had my kids every other weekend, and I planned each one like an event: pancakes, the game, a movie we'd quote for a month.

By Monday I'd be wrecked, and somewhere in all that planning I'd still have forgotten the cleats.

I didn't need another app to argue in. I needed something on my side of the house that would hold the details, so I could be fully there for the part that matters.

A week with it

One week, one parent, one phone.

To show how it works, here's one week with a sample family. The names are made up, but the week will probably feel familiar.

  • MMarcusThe parent using Luraio. He has the kids every other weekend.
  • JJada, 12His daughter. Into sketching, and trying out for the fall play.
  • EEli, 8His son. Plays soccer on Saturdays.
  • TTashaMarcus's partner. She lives with him and the kids when they're there.
  • GGrandmaMarcus's mom. She buys the birthday presents.
  • SSimoneThe kids' mom. She isn't on Luraio and may never be.

A work trip lands on his weekend.

Marcus has to travel on one of his January weekends. Before he asks Simone to trade, Luraio shows him what the swap would mean for his own home, in a check only he and Tasha can see. Then he sends the request by text, and Simone can answer from a link without downloading anything or writing back a long message.

Tonight they come home.

Pickup is at Simone's at 5:30, and the packing list has already put itself together from the weekend ahead: cleats for Eli's Saturday game, the poster board Jada needs on Monday, and the charger she left at her mom's last time.

Once he has them, Marcus taps Picked up. It goes in his own record, and Simone doesn't hear about it unless he decides to send a note.

The weekend is the point.

With four nights together, Marcus wants more than just getting through the weekend. Luraio already knows about Eli's 10 AM game, so the ideas it suggests fit around it, and whatever he adds to the plan shows up on the packing list too.

He keeps Sunday evening light on purpose, because Monday morning always comes fast.

Plan the weekend

    7:10PM · Sunday

They went back this morning. The house is quiet.

There's no to-do list waiting tonight, just one optional question that only Marcus will see. Luraio never asks the kids about their other home, and it doesn't keep score between parents.

What was the best moment this weekend?

    Only you see this.

His next weekend with them starts Thursday, Nov 19, and nothing needs his attention tonight.

Your phone in the car. Your laptop on Sunday night.

It's the same plan everywhere, designed for the phone first. These are real screens from the app, shown with the sample family.

    Luraio Home on a phone

On a phone, it's built for the pickup line, so you can see what you need with one hand.

    Built for one parent first

Nothing waits on the other house.

Most co-parenting apps only work once both parents sign up, and plenty of people never will. Luraio works fully with just you, and you can bring in your partner, a grandparent or the other parent whenever it would help.
